Evan Sherer (he/him) is an audio specialist based in Los Angeles, CA

My sound journey started in Houston, Texas when my high school friend handed me a broomstick with a microphone duct-taped at the top. Six years later, I graduated from the University of Texas at Austin having immersed myself in everything audio.

During my time at U.T. Austin and onwards, I have enjoyed working as anything from foley artist to FM board operator to re-recording mixer. Every opportunity to learn, collaborate, and bring audio expertise to a creative project is worth it for me. I'm beyond grateful to the mentors I've had along the way who've reached out a hand—I wouldn't be the audio engineer I am today without them.

I freelance nowadays, providing post-production sound services for film, video, and podcasts. I'm available for remote work and in-person work in Los Angeles.

In my down time, I indulge my passions for record-collecting, hackysacking, and chess.
